Over a two-week period, Anne experimented with paints, crayons, ink directly on a 5-metre long white wall, using the gallery as a live canvas and each day bringing its own creative layer. As part of her performance, Anne invited selected artists to interact with her work. The artists collaborated and contributed to make each day a unique and ephemeral work of art, marking the wall with successive traces. The wall resumed to its original state – plain white – as the artist residency finishes.

Visiting Kyoto you can’t miss a stroll around Kiyomizudera temple. In the upper part of the temple worshipers are invited to write on a thin piece of paper what is troubling them. Dropped in a wooden bucket full of water, the paper will disappear within minutes, almost magically, as should the troubles.
